HOW DO MAMMALS
    REPRODUCE?

The focus of this lesson is the mammal whose reproduction is of primary interest to most middle school students - humans.

Of course, this single lesson is not intended as a 'course' in human reproduction.

Straight-forward descriptions and clear illustrations provide students with the basic terminology related to human reproductive anatomy and physiology.

Please note: While only three pages long (including the review questions), this is not a typical lesson. It is unusually heavy on terms. Help with pronunciation is provided for the more challenging terms.

The lead-in story introduces the topic of in vitro fertilization.
