Please be aware that Discovering Life Science is a textbook; it is not a "science program."

A primary purpose of this book is to enable students teach themselves a good portion of the basic content in a life science course - and thereby free up class time so that teachers may implement their own program.

Discovering Life Science is also designed to support the teaching of outlining. Outlines of the 72 lessons are provided as free pdf documents. (Please see the menu items TEACHING OUTLINING and CONTENTS).
