Please be aware that Discovering Life Science is a textbook; it is not a "science program."

The primary purposes of this book are to help students teach themselves basic life science content - and to free up class time so that teachers may implement their own program.

Discovering Life Science is also designed to support the teaching of outlining. Outlines of the lessons are provided as free pdf documents. (Please see the menu items "CONTENTS" and "TEACHING OUTLINING").
