Please note that after the primary index, a second index lists terms that are used only on tables and on some of the illustrations. (Examples include illustrated charts of organisms from various classification levels, and tables of vitamin deficiency diseases, of genetically inherited diseases, and of common drugs of abuse).  A third index lists terms from the text's 20 optional readings.
